RUNA in action
Runa can turn a festival, fair, team-building event, or urban game into a search for hidden points. In compass mode, Runa helps find a specific person. In game mode, the device stops being a classic compass and becomes a trail that reacts to distance from the target, turning into a LED hot-and-cold information system.
How can it work in practice? There are endless possibilities.
The organizer hides points to find on the map, for example near the old gate, under a big oak, beside the food trucks, or by the campfire.
The participant chooses game mode, takes Runa in hand, and heads into the field. They do not get an exact route. They do not follow a pin on the map. They search by following signals sent by Runa.
When they are far away, Runa glows with a cool blue color. As they get closer to the target, the color becomes redder and warmer. When they are very close, the device gives a clear signal through light, sound, or vibration.
It is a little like childhood "hot and cold", moved into the real world, into events and larger spaces.
GAME LOOP

The participant chooses an event or game in the app and links Runa with a specific route.

Runa switches into search mode. It does not guide like a regular map. It gives signals that help you feel whether you are getting closer to the target.

LED colors show distance from the point. Blue means: you are far away. Green / yellow means: you are getting closer. Red means: you are close to the target.
